Dacromet anti-corrosion coating is a more environmentally friendly technological process compared with other traditional anti-corrosion processes. The following are the characteristics of this process:

1, the coating is thin

The thickness of the chromium-free zinc-aluminum coating is usually 8-10 μm; with a sealing layer (such as GEOMET), the thickness is 10-14 μm.

2, No hydrogen embrittlement

There is no pickling during the chromium-free Dacromet coating process, and there is no chemical or electrochemical reaction that produces hydrogen, so the generation of hydrogen embrittlement is avoided, and it is especially suitable for high-strength steel parts that are sensitive to hydrogen embrittlement.

3, anti-bimetallic corrosion

Typical bimetallic microbattery corrosion will occur when most zinc layers are closely matched with aluminum or steel, and the aluminum flakes in the chrome-free zinc-aluminum coating can reduce the occurrence of the above phenomenon;

4, Resistant to organic solvents

As an inorganic coating, it is resistant to organic solvents;

5, heat resistance

Even after 3 hours of high temperature heat treatment at 300 degrees Celsius, the coating can maintain excellent corrosion resistance.

6, corrosion resistance

The corrosion resistance of chrome-free Dacromet is much higher than that of electro-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, electro-plated Zn-Fe and electro-cadmium.

7, no pollution

The whole production of chromium-free dacromet is carried out in a closed cycle process, the process has no rinsing process, and no harmful waste water and gas will be discharged to the outside.

8, good electrical conductivity

The flaky metal zinc and aluminum powder in the coating allows the current to pass and conduct to the substrate.
